The Kelvingrove Music Festivals - What Bands Played Each Year
This is still a work in progress but after a lot of digging we have managed to get most of the bands who played at The Radio Clyde Kelvingrove Music Festivals from 1978 to 1994. There are question marks next to the years we are not 100% certain of but this page is still an ongoing project until we complete it. There were other rock performances held at the Bandstand that were not part of the Festivals, they have been added at the bottom of the page. In 1986 the Festival was held at Queenspark, the only year the Festival was not held in Kelvingrove. If you have any information on the bands missing from the years marked with ? please let us know.

July 15th - 1983
The Dolphins Played the very first evening/night time concert at Kelvingrove Bandstand to a crowd of 4000 finished off with a fireworks display. Cammy Forbes came back in 1984 to play Kelvingrove at night again with The David Forbes Band.
